When you go make sure you pick up your tickets for Independance Hall first thing at the visitor center otherwise you may not get in. We had a brief but great time here

Independance Hall, which is at one end of this large plaza area
Washington sat at the raised desk. At the top of his chair is an engraving of the sun. At the conclusion of the constitution convention Benjamin Franklin remarked that he was never sure if it was a setting sun or a rising sun, but now he was certain it was a rising sun
At the other end of the plaza is the National Constitution Center with lots of displays
My favorite was the room that had statues of all the delegates. Each has a plaque with their information
Karen just wanted to hold Franklin's hand (you know he was quite the ladies man)It appears that he is saying something profound
Washington is standing and you notice the little girl holding a persons hand while reading a paper identifying him
No visit is complete without visiting the Liberty Bell
